Eight Hurt as SUV Strikes School Bus in Wilmington, DE

Wilmington, DE (October 6, 2026) – Police said eight people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus on Tuesday morning near West 10th and North Lincoln streets.

According to investigators, the crash happened just before 9 a.m. when an SUV struck an occupied school bus and then hit another vehicle.

Two drivers and six occupants of the school bus were taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash. No further details were released.
