What Should I Do After a Car Accident in Smyrna, DE?
Call 911 first so police and medical help can reach the scene, especially on a busy highway like the one involved here. Even if you feel fine, it’s a good idea to get checked by a doctor, since some injuries don’t show symptoms right away. Take photos of the vehicles and the surrounding area if you’re able to do so safely, and get the police report number before you leave Smyrna. Keep any records of medical visits or repair estimates, and be cautious about giving a recorded statement to an insurance adjuster before you understand your situation.
