Wilmington, DE (May 13, 2022) – Police in Wilmington responded to the scene of a serious car accident on Friday, May 13th. The accident took place at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Northeast Boulevard near the intersection with 30th Street.
According to a report from officials, there were at least two vehicles involved in the collision. One of the motorists was seriously hurt. A helicopter arrived at the scene to transfer the injured patient to a nearby hospital. There is no update on the conditions of the other drivers involved. Police and rescue officials blocked the road and motorists were advised to avoid the area and to find an alternate route of travel if possible. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time. There is no word on how the collision took place.
