Driver Killed, Passenger Hurt in Honda Crash in Georgetown, DE
Georgetown, DE (July 5, 2026) – A Millsboro man died, and a Millsboro woman was seriously hurt on Sunday morning, July 5, after a collision on Peterkins Road in Georgetown.
As authorities reported, the Honda left the road, returned briefly, then swerved off the opposite side before striking two trees and rolling onto its roof.
Emergency units responded after the Honda came to rest on Peterkins Road. The 32-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 31-year-old passenger was taken to an area hospital. Their names are being withheld until family members are notified.
The road stayed closed for about three hours while officials cleared the location. No further details about the collision were made public as of this report.
