17-Year-Old Dies After Crash on Stanton Christiana Rd in Newark, DE

A 17-year-old Bear resident died after a two-vehicle crash on Stanton Christiana Road near Old Stanton Christiana Road in Newark on Saturday night, July 18, according to the Delaware State Police.
Investigators said a Toyota Camry was traveling on Stanton Christiana Road when it lost control while approaching a curve and entered the path of a Toyota Sienna traveling in the opposite direction. The Camry then struck the Sienna, causing a serious impact.
The teenage driver of the Camry was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Delaware State Police identified the victim as Bryan Flores, 17, of Bear.
Pedestrian Crash on Rte 273 in New Castle, DE
New Castle, DE (July 21, 2026) – The Delaware State Police are investigating a pedestrian crash that occurred on Route 273 near Pleasant Place in New Castle on Monday afternoon, July 20.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the circumstances of the crash, the people involved, or the extent of the injuries. The investigation is still in its early stages, as troopers continue to gather information.

Ambulance Involved in T-Bone Crash on Halltown Rd in Hartly, DE
Hartly, DE (July 24, 2026) – A Queen Anne’s County medic unit was involved in a T-bone crash Thursday afternoon, July 23, in the 6500 block of Halltown Road.
Hartly Fire and emergency crews from Marydel and Dover responded shortly before 2 p.m. The medic unit’s crew and patient were reported to be stable following the crash.
A second driver involved sustained minor injuries. Further details about how the crash occurred have not been released.
Investigators continue to work to determine what led to the collision.
