The American Constitution Society (ACS) is a diverse nationwide network of progressive lawyers, judges, scholars, students, and others “who work to uphold the Constitution in the 21st Century by ensuring that law is a force for protecting our democracy and the public interest and for improving people’s lives.”
In 2021, Frank Murphy helped to found, and became the first President of the Delaware lawyers chapter of the ACS. The chapter held its first meeting in February, where U.S. Senator Christopher Coons (Delaware) addressed the group. The new chapter already has more than 50 members and is growing daily.
