According to a report from the scene, there were multiple vehicles, including a red sedan and a silver SUV involved in the crash. Paramedics were dispatched to the scene where they provided treatment to at least one person. The victim was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. One of the cars was seen in contact with a guardrail on the roadway.
The crash shut down the southbound lanes for about four hours while police investigated. During this time, there were significant traffic delays at the scene. Drivers were told to avoid the area and to find an alternate route of travel if possible. No one involved in the crash has been identified. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed.
