Newark, DE (June 6, 2023) – Police in Newark were called to the scene of a school bus crash on Tuesday morning, June 6th. The accident took place in the Cherokee Woods neighborhood on Cherokee Drive.
Police say that the school bus was traveling through a narrow line of parked cars when it collided with one of the vehicles. There were approximately 12 to 15 children on board the school bus at the time of the crash. Emergency workers responded to the scene and transported two people to a nearby hospital.
