Group homes, like nursing homes and mental health facilities, provide care for vulnerable populations, such as children, the elderly, the disabled, those suffering from addiction, and the mentally ill. Usually, group homes have a small population of residents; but this also means that there are often a limited number of staff to oversee the residents.
What is Human Trafficking? It is defined as forcing, exploiting or coercing a person to provide labor or services, or to engage in sex acts for money. Human Trafficking is a serious crime; and one which is often hidden in plain sight. Who are the victims of human trafficking? Victims can be children or adults.
