Newark, DE (January 14, 2025) – A serious pedestrian crash occurred on January 13 when a car collided into the Methodist Church at 77 New London Road in Newark, injuring both the pedestrian and the driver. The accident, reported by Newark Police at approximately 4:30 a.m., involved a pedestrian being struck before the vehicle crashed into the church.
Emergency responders quickly arrived, and the pedestrian sustained significant injuries. Additional Advanced Life Support (ALS) personnel and the New Castle County Collapse Team were requested for assistance.
