Wilmington, DE (September 12, 2023) – Officials are investigating after a serious injury crash in Wilmington. The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12th.
Police were dispatched to the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near the ramp to Naamans Road in response to the collision. According to a report, at least one person sustained injuries in the accident. The injured victim received treatment at the accident scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. It is unclear at this time if anyone else was hurt as a result of the crash. Police and rescue officials worked at the scene for an extended period of time as they investigated and cleared the area. Drivers were told to avoid the crash site and to find an alternate route of travel.
