Risks Drivers Face at Busy Highway Intersections
Busy highway intersections present elevated risks, especially when vehicles are traveling at different speeds and making left turns. Crashes often happen when drivers misjudge distance, speed, or timing while crossing opposing traffic. Intersections that connect major highways to local roads can increase these risks late at night, when visibility drops and reaction times may be reduced.
In crashes like these, people may suffer a wide range of injuries. Passengers often experience chest, head, or internal injuries due to the force
Medical evaluation after a crash helps identify injuries early and creates important records. These records can guide treatment and support recovery planning. Some injuries improve quickly, while others may take longer and require physical therapy or additional testing.
