Claymont, DE (June 10, 2023) – Officials in the Claymont area were called to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Thursday, June 8th. The crash happened just before 7:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 495 near the Philadelphia Pike.
When officials arrived at the scene, they found at least one person suffering from injuries due to the crash. The injured victim was treated at the scene and was then taken to a local hospital for further treatment. At this time, it is unknown how the accident took place. Police and rescue officials were at the scene for more than an hour as they investigated the crash and cleared the scene. There is no update on the victim’s condition.
