Middletown, DE (November 2, 2022) – Officials in New Castle County responded to the scene of an injury accident on Tuesday, November 1st. The accident happened just after 4:00 p.m. on State Route 1 near Middletown-Odessa Road.
According to a report from authorities, the accident involved two vehicles. One of the vehicles rolled onto its side following the accident. A 44-year-old female and a 15-year-old female were trapped inside the overturned car. Both of the females were extricated from the car and were taken to Christiana Hospital with head and neck injuries. They were listed in stable condition at the hospital. Two other motorists reported minor injuries but were not transported. There is no information on the cause of the accident at this time.
The collision is under investigation by the Delaware State Police. No additional details have been released.
