Millsboro, DE (May 19, 2024) – Officials in Millsboro were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Friday, May 17th. The collision was reported around 9:20 p.m. on Long Neck Road near the intersection with Bayshore Road.
According to a report, a red Ford pickup truck and a black Hyundai sedan collided with one other under unknown circumstances. Both vehicles suffered heavy damage and were inoperable after the accident. Emergency crews responded and assisted at least one person with injuries following the crash. The victim was stabilized at the scene and then transported to an area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. No one involved has been identified and details regarding the cause of the accident are limited at this time. The Delaware State Police closed the road while the collision was investigated.
