Camden, DE (August 8, 2023) – The Delaware State Police are investigating after a 3-year-old was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday afternoon, August 8th. The accident took place on South State Street near the intersection with Rising Sun Road.
According to a DSP report, the child was walking near the scene when they were struck by a white Chevrolet pickup truck. The Chevrolet fled the scene immediately after the collision. The child was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other individuals involved in the collision. Police are searching for the driver of the truck. There is no other description of the vehicle or the driver at this time.
