Millsboro, DE (August 20, 2026) – Five people were hurt Wednesday evening, August 19, after a three-vehicle wreck on Hollyville Road near the Millsboro Bypass, with one vehicle that caught fire during the collision.
Millsboro Fire and emergency units were sent to the location of the wreck at around 6:25 p.m. Emergency units found one vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Luckily, all occupants were able to get out on their own by the time crews arrived.
Five people needed treatment at the scene, and four were taken by ambulance to area hospitals. At least two people were reported to have possibly serious injuries.
It has not been disclosed how the vehicles came together.
The cause of the crash remains under review.
