Delmar, DE (April 13, 2026) – A crash with reported injuries took place on Saturday, April 11 along Sussex Highway near the Delaware Int’l Speedway in Delmar. Emergency units were dispatched to the scene at approximately 2:28 p.m. after receiving reports of a vehicle accident involving at least one injured person.
Responders arrived and located the crash site near the speedway. One person was hurt in the incident and received on-site care before being taken by ambulance to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Hospital for further treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been released.
