Georgetown, DE (January 1, 2024) – The Delaware State Police were called to the scene of a serious injury accident on Saturday night, December 30th. The accident was reported around 7:30 p.m at the intersection of Route 9 and Gravel Hill Road.
According to a DSP report, two vehicles were involved in the accident in the intersection. One of the cars rolled over after being struck. Paramedics and rescue crews responded to the crash scene. One person was injured in the accident. The victim was transported to a local hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The victim’s identity was no immediately released.
