Injury Accident in Middletown
On a per capita basis, Delaware is one of the most dangerous states in the nation for motorists. With nearly 30,000 reported accidents and approximately 8,000 injuries every year, no one can ever feel truly safe on our local roadways. Many serious crashes occur on busy roads such as interstates and highways. In other instances, accidents can take place on busy city streets or even on quiet neighborhood roads. Motorists should always remember to remain vigilant and to exercise care and caution each time they get behind the wheel of a vehicle. This vigilance can reduce the risks of being involved in an unexpected crash.
In some cases, though, a car accident is not avoidable. This happens when a negligent driver places another motorist in a position from which they cannot escape. In this instance, the innocent driver is not able to avoid the accident by taking evasive maneuvers. Unfortunately, these types of accidents are often very serious and can lead to devastating consequences such as high medical bills, lost income, tremendous pain, and more.
