Dover, DE (November 9, 2023) – A serious head-on collision was reported in Dover on Wednesday morning, November 8th. The accident took place around 7:25 a.m. on the intersection of Sharon Hill Road and Deer Track Lane.
According to an initial report, two vehicles were traveling in the opposite direction when one of the cars collided head-on with the other. Reports from the scene further indicate that at least one person was injured in the crash. Paramedics from the Saint Francis EMS transported the injured female victim to a hospital in New Castle for treatment. There is no update on the woman’s condition at this time. Her identity has also not been released. At this time, it is unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash.
Police are still investigating the cause of the collision and it is unknown if any charges are expected to be filed. No further information has been released.
