According to a report from the scene, 20-year-old Glenn Porter was driving a vehicle that was struck by a Jeep after the driver of the Jeep lost control of her vehicle. Glenn Porter sustained critical injuries and later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. His parents were in another vehicle that was traveling behind him on the same road. Their vehicle was also hit by the Jeep, and they suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries as a result.
The driver of the Jeep has not been identified at this time. An investigation into the accident is underway, and there is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed.
