According to a report from authorities, a Ford Ranger was traveling at a high rate of speed on South Dupont Boulevard. The driver lost control of the truck, and it left the road, striking a highway sign in the median. The driver overcorrected the vehicle as it came back onto the roadway, causing it to overturn. Both the driver and passenger were ejected from the truck. The 30-year-old male driver and 29-year-old male passenger, both from Milford, died as a result of the crash.
The identities of the two men have not been released at this time. There were no other vehicles involved.
An investigation is ongoing at this time. No further information is available.
