According to a report from the area, a police vehicle and a red Kia SUV collided with each other at the intersection. The Kia suffered heavy damage, and the police car flipped onto its side. A total of three people were transported to the hospital after the accident. The conditions of the victims have not been released at this time.
Police partially closed the road while the crash was investigated. Drivers were told to avoid the scene and to look for an alternate route of travel.
There is no information on what caused the accident to take place. An investigation is ongoing.
