Newark, DE (July 17, 2022) – Police and rescue authorities in Newark responded to the scene of a serious crash involving a motorcycle on Friday, July 15th. The accident took place around 10:00 p.m. on Old County Line Road near the area of Lyric Drive.
The Delaware State Police Troop 4 was among the agencies that were dispatched to the accident. According to police, the crash involved an injured motorcyclist. The rider was thrown from his bike following the collision. When paramedics arrived, they rushed the victim to Christiana Hospital via helicopter where he was treated for life-threatening injuries. The identity of the victim is unknown at this time. It is unclear how the accident took place.
