New Castle, DE (June 28, 2022) — According to sources, a motor vehicle crash was reported on I-295 SB over the Delaware Memorial Bridge (Delaware bound). It has been reported that injuries occurred but it is currently unknown the extent of those injuries. The incident occurred on Monday, June 27th.
Sources say that the crash caused delays back to before the Turnpike/295 merge. Emergency responders promptly arrived at the scene where they worked and assisted all parties involved.
Neither the names of the victims nor any further details have been released at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
